How to connect Google Sheets?

Our video tutorial will walk you through the process of uploading your Google Sheets data to INSIA in an easy-to-follow manner.

To get started with connecting your Google Sheets data, click on the 'Data Connect' option in the 'Admin Portal' (find it in the left navigation bar). Now, you will see a screen with all the available connectors.

Steps:

  1. Select the Google Sheets option.

  2. You will see two tabs on your screen- 'New Connection' and 'Existing Connection'. To connect your Google Sheets data, you will need to stay on the 'New Connection' tab and open the Google Sheet that needs to be connected. Click on 'Continue'.

  3. Now, enter the URL of your Google sheet in the field given as shown below.

  4. Enter the exact tab name of your Google Sheet.

    (Note- You can copy the tab name from the Google Sheet and paste it to avoid any discrepancies/ spelling errors)

  5. Copy the email ID on your screen, open your Google Sheet and click on 'Share'. Paste the ID and click on 'send' as shown below. Then open your INSIA page and click on 'Continue'.

    (Note- To share your Google Sheet with the Forty4hz service account, make sure to give it at least read access)

  6. 'Test your connection' as shown below. Click 'Continue' and voila, your connection is successfully established!
