How to manage my Data?

Learn about managing Data pipelines and Tables and Changing Column Names

Updated over a week ago

The Data Management Console under the Admin portal is a one-stop shop to manage everything related to your data.

Under Data Management, you would find three tabs each about different aspects of data.

  • Pipeline setting

  • Table setting

  • Column setting

Pipeline Settings

Under pipeline settings, you can view and edit all your data pipelines; These pipelines are created when you connect with a Database or an application that pushes data through APIs.

You can change the load frequency and switch On or off the data pipeline. You can also reconnect or delete the entire pipeline by clicking on the three dots at the end of each row in the Pipeline setting table.

You can see the list of all tables ingested under each pipeline by clicking on the info button.

Please note Deleting a pipeline will automatically delete all tables and all KPIs related to that data pipeline.

Table Settings

Under Table Settings, you can view the default date dimension, the maximum date, and the minimum date of the loaded table. You can edit the default date dimension for all your loaded tables. You can also delete the table from the database. Please note deleting the table will automatically delete all KPIs related to that table from INSIA.

Column Settings

Under Column settings, you can view and edit the Display Name or Priority of all the columns across all loaded tables. Display Name is what comes on the Search bar, and Priority is where you can configure any column to show or hide on the platform. You can also set the column for more advanced automatic analysis by changing the priority to Love.

Please note once data is loaded, you can not selectively delete any column from the loaded table.
