Visualization: Line and Column Charts

Learn about INSIA's Line and Column Charts Visualization feature.

Updated over a week ago

These charts are a combination of line and column charts that depicts two metrics categorized by a single dimension.

For example, if you need to see Spend and Delay in Payment and Category level 1.

The X-axis of the line and column chart represents the dimension categories Business Unit Level 1, and the Y-axis will have the values of both metrics with one scale on each side. The columns present Spend (metric 1), and the blue line presents the Delay in Payment (metric 2). (As shown in the figure below).

Note: This is on sample procurement data. We don't set any taxonomies and INSIA will only read column names from your data. If you call 'Spend' as 'Expense', 'Expense' will show on the search bar. You can find the sample data by going to the top right corner of the platform and switching to 'Demo Mode'. There you can select 'Procurement' to see a similar visualization as below.

On the Line and Column chart, you can use all features:

  • Setting alerts

  • Performing drill-downs

  • Generating i360 reports
