Updated over a week ago

RBAC stands for Role-Based Access Control. INSIA has a control setup that decides who has access to what type of data, features, and control over the platform.

Watch our detailed video to learn more about RBAC.

The purpose of having RBAC is to ensure users have access to only those parts of the database as required per their roles. The RBAC setup option has a box with a drop-down menu labeled 'Group name' on the top right corner. Select the group name from the dropdown to provide access.

The RBAC setup is further divided into three categories:

  1. Data access: It controls and determines access to different databases.

  2. Feature access: It controls the access to various features on INSIA.

  3. Admin access: It controls the access to the admin portal.
