To add a filter to your data story, simply go to the top-right corner of your page and select the 'filter' option as follows:
Click on the drop down menu to select and apply the desired filters. Don't forget to save your changes!
To delete a filter, click on the 'X- mark' located on the right of the filter as follows.
(Note- if there are multiple filters applied, you can click on 'Clear all filters' to view your data story without any filters.)
Additional Information:
When you add a filter to a chart before adding the chart to a data story, the applied filter is present in the data story as well.
To check all the applied filters on the chart, hover the mouse over the filter icon. It immediately shows you all the current filters applied to the chart.
